Are you looking for an anti-virus software but don't want to pay any money for basic protection? There is a program called AVG free anti-virus protection which is trusted by over tens of millions of people who use it every day. You can find it here at http://free.avg.com/us-en/free-antivirus-download.
Using this program you can get the protection you need in order to keep your computer up and running with minimal viruses without slowing down your computer. I personally use the free version with my desktop computer and it works amazingly well. it runs in the background and it hardly ever interrupts what I am doing. It updates regularly so that new viruses are not a threat to your computer. The free version also contains a link scanner that will let you know whether or not the site you are attempting to look at is safe or not. This can really come in handy when you are going to look at a sketchy web site that you don't know anything about.
There are other free anti-virus programs out there, but none of them come close to AVG in my opinion. In order to get the most out of your computer without emptying your wallet try AVG for free to get the most out of a free software.

How to get your itunes library to your new computer
Itunes can be very complicated when it comes to transferring music to another computer. But, with home sharing in the new Itunes 9, it just got easier. There are just a few easy steps in order to transfer all of your Itunes files from one computer to the next.
1. Set up home sharing on Itunes which will enable up to five computers on your network to share Itunes. To do this go to Advanced in Itunes and click on "Turn on home sharing". Do this on both computers.
2. Then you must load the other computers library onto your computer using the internet. ie. click on the name of the computer that has all the music.
3. Just highlight all the music you want to copy and drag it from the sharing to your library and your done.
I hope this helped.

How to play video games using internet through a power outlet

Internet gaming is something that is increasingly becoming more and more popular. With that comes more and more problems with internet accessibility. One major problem is getting internet to an area away from the router or not wanting to use/have wireless internet. An easy solution to this problem is power line adapters. They send your wireless internet through your home wiring so that it can usually work in any room that has a power adapter. You can check out my hub about this as well at http://hubpages.com/hub/videogamesthroughhomewireing I personally use this option with my x-box and it works wonderfully. There can be problems associated with your home wiring though. If there is a problem like a bad wire or a lapse in connectivity, then the connection could lag or be considerably bad.
To do this kind of connection you first need to buy a power line adapter which usually costs anywhere from 50-100 dollars. Once you have the adapter you need to set it up depending on what type of power line adapter you bought. I have a Netgear adapter which runs perfectly. You have two adapters to use. One that plugs into the wall by your router, and another that plug into the wall at the desired location of the internet connection. NOTE: They must be plugged into the wall and not a power strip or extension cord for this will defeat the purpose of going through your home wiring. You then must connect the two adapters. To do this follow the directions that come with the adapter of your choice. Once connected, you plug a ethernet cable into each adapter and then one into your router and the other into your x-box, computer, or other type of internet enabled device. You then should have unrestricted access depending on your router settings to all the internet you want and the adapters will shut off when the console or computer is not using the internet and will come on again when turning on the device and enjoy!

Full HD Camcorders vs. Upscaling Camcorders
Camcorders are something most families like to use to record memorable moments. With the technology we have these days, why not record in HD? There are two types of HD camcorders out there that I know about. There are camcorders with HD capabilities and camcorders that record in full HD. When buying an HD camcorder one must take into account that you will be spending around 500$ at the time of this article. The first type of camcorder is one with High Definition capabilities. What does this mean? Well this means a couple of things. One being that the camcorder is in fact not an HD camcorder at all, but a standard definition camcorder with the power to upscale the definition to a high quality. So basically, it records in standard definition and when you plug it into you T.V., if you use a HDMI cable, then it will upscale the definition into HD. If this is something you prefer then I would recommend a Samsung or a sony over JVC for quality issues and ease of use when recovering video.

If you want the full HD capabilities, then your going to have to spend some money. The camcorders with full HD capabilities will say something like "Full HD" and not "HD Playback" Which is the type of camcorder I mentioned above. The full HD camcorders record their video in full HD and so the recording time for these type of camcorders range from 1-10 hrs depending on what type of memory card you buy. These memory cards are not usually included and the HD camcorders don't usually have a hard drive unless they are very expensive. The memory cards range from 20 dollars on up depending on how big you want to go and how much money you want to spend.
